Our story
Swiss UV specialists. That’s the whole company.
Skinvisibles is a privately owned Swiss company based in Zurich, built by a team who have spent their working lives in UV protection and skincare. We are not a skincare range that added a sunscreen — sun protection is the only thing we make.
The brief we set ourselves is deliberately narrow: invisible UV protection for visible results. Visible results means healthy, radiant, hydrated skin — which takes two things at once, high protection and real hydration. Every formula is built to do both.
There is a reason SENSE appears in every product name. Daily SPF comes down to how it feels: ultralight, fast-absorbing, absolutely no stickiness. A sunscreen you dislike wearing is a sunscreen you skip, and one you skip protects nothing.
Our formulas are made in Switzerland, Japan and the EU with independent specialist laboratories, and sold through beauty institutes and skin clinics who can explain them properly. In Norway, that’s Cosmenor.

The technology
Sunlight is more than UVB and UVA.
The law only asks a sunscreen to handle two parts of the spectrum. Daylight delivers considerably more — and the rest of it is where most visible ageing actually happens. Here is what reaches your skin, and where our filters sit.

Antioxidants + light-scattering particles
Where filters stop, chemistry takes over: every formula carries antioxidants, and Glow Sense adds a mica complex that scatters light at the surface.
400 nm+
Protection past the legal minimum
Tinosorb® A2B, BASF’s newest filter, closes the UVA II gap where sun spots and melasma begin — and keeps absorbing above 400 nm, into blue light. Four further filters cover UVB and long-wave UVA.
UVA II
320–340 nm
Wrinkle depth after six weeks with HySilk® hyaluronic acid, tested in vivo. Niacinamide PC® cuts blue-light oxidative stress by 48%. Every active is chosen on published data and confirmed by external labs.
UVA I
340–400 nm
The skin barrier’s penetration limit. Every filter we use — nano-labelled or not — is heavier than 500 Daltons, so it stays on the surface and works from there.
