Can I use sunscreen the same day as filler?

In most cases yes, since the skin's surface itself isn't damaged the way it is after a laser or peel treatment. Your clinic will still let you know if something about your specific treatment means you should wait. Either way, apply sunscreen gently, without pressing or massaging over recently treated areas.

What makes Skinvisibles® different?

Swiss UV specialists. That's the whole company.

Skinvisibles is a privately held Swiss company based in Zurich, built by a team who have spent their working lives in UV protection and skincare. We are not a skincare line that adds sunscreen – sun protection is all we make.

The mission we set for ourselves is deliberately narrow: invisible UV protection for visible results. Visible results mean healthy, radiant, hydrated skin – which does two things at once, high protection and true hydration. Each formula is designed to do both.

There's a reason SENSE appears in every product name. Daily SPF is all about how it feels: ultra-light, fast-absorbing, absolutely no stickiness. A sunscreen you don't like to wear is one you skip, and one you skip protects nothing.

Our formulas are made in Switzerland, Japan and the EU with independent specialist laboratories, and are sold through beauty institutes and skin clinics that can explain them properly. In Norway it is Cosmenor.

Why application matters more than wait time with filler

It's the pressure, not the sunlight, that's the main concern

Unlike laser or a peel, it's rarely UV exposure itself that's the main concern after filler — it's pressure and massaging that can affect how the filler settles. Sun protection still matters because swollen, freshly treated skin can appear more visibly reddish in sunlight, and because a consistent routine is what protects skin best over time regardless. This kind of caution usually only applies for a few days, and is a natural part of the body adjusting to the new filler. Most clinics recommend a quick review of your skincare routine at your follow-up appointment, so sunscreen and other care match how your skin has actually responded to treatment.

Science, simply put

Why Daily SPF Is the Smartest Skincare Option

Up to 80% of visible skin aging comes from UV exposure – and it happens even on cloudy Norwegian days.

What to know about applying sunscreen on swollen or tender areas in the first days.

Questions about sunscreen after fillers

Can I use sunscreen the same day as my filler treatment?

+

In most cases yes, but your clinic will let you know if something about your treatment suggests otherwise. Always apply gently, without pressure over injection sites.

Why does filler cause swelling, and does it affect which sunscreen I should use?

+

Swelling is a normal reaction to the injection and usually goes down within a few days. During this period it's wise to choose a sunscreen that doesn't require pressing or massaging in.

Which sunscreen suits skin best after filler?

+

A light, non-comedogenic SPF 50 that can be applied with light pats. UV Serum is built for exactly this kind of gentle application.

Can I use tinted sunscreen after filler?

+

Yes, as long as you avoid pressing or rubbing over recently treated areas. Choose a light, non-comedogenic formula.

How long should I be extra careful with application?

+

Most clinics recommend gentle application for the first 3–5 days, until swelling has settled. Your clinic will give you a timeframe suited to your treatment.
